Welcome!

Hello! I'm Diane Callas, a dedicated licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) who believes in the power of compassionate care and understanding. My passion lies in serving as a guide toward positive change and breaking the unhelpful patterns that often span generations. I have over 5 years of clinical experience, building a commitment to foster growth and resilience.

I obtained my MA in Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling from Brandman University. I am also a CSUN alumni with a BA in English: Creative Writing.

I bring a diverse set of therapeutic tools to the table, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

Specializing in trauma-informed care, my heart is in working with adults and elders, drawing on my experience serving the Native community at Indian health. I approach therapy with cultural sensitivity, recognizing and addressing intergenerational trauma, creating a safe place for healing.

I believe in meeting people where they are, be it in the process of trauma healing or acquiring practical skills for daily challenges.

Respectfully,

Diane Callas, MA, LMFT, LPCC
